Tens and sevens are the two numbers that have appeared on every card. And when I pulled a helper card or clarification card, I pulled the final 7. So now we have every seven in the spread. 7 of Cups, 7 of swords, 7 of coins, 7 of wands.
7 represents persistence, individuality, deep knowing. We also have 10’s. Ten’s represent a completion of a cycle.
Now onto what the cards are saying:
I’m seeing in the past position, you’re feeling as if you’re creating, creating, creating; and feeling blocked, and not seeing the abundance or income manifesting from your efforts. When the Empress is in reverse, it’s because she’s not grounded. Lack of being grounded comes from being caught up in the mind or in the emotions. Since every cups card is upright, I see the swords in the ‘blocking you’ position, I can conclude it’s your mind that spiraling and causing the lack of groundedness. How does one create groundedness in their life? Being in the physical body. A lot of people respond to chaos, uncomfortable feelings, and trauma by slipping out of the body. You’re half out, half in, and while you’re in enough to function, your out enough to not feel or embody the emotions. That blocks progress and forward movement. To ground yourself into the body. Do physical things. Exercise, dance, walk, etc. Spend time in nature. If you see her card, she’s standing IN water, surrounded by nature, and it’s very green. Go get outside.
In the present position, I see there’s an emotional victory you’re not recognizing. The cups represent your emotions, your spirituality, your intuition and relationships. So in one of these areas, you’ve been pursuing an end goal. In the present, I see someone who’s looking head on, face front to the present moment. I see someone who is persistently working to know thyself better. Someone who has also reached some level of success or accomplishment with that process. The Ten is the completion of a cycle or goal. However, the thing with the tarot is the ten is not the end; the King is. When it comes to the minor arcana cards. There’s still some immaturity to be worked through, some additional movement and some growth and realization, until you reach the end goal, where you’ll be able to turn around and help others with this process. So, while we might be at the end of one cycle, it’s not really the end. And such is the way of life. Life & the growth process is not a circle, it’s a spiral. This represents seeing completion of one layer of the onion removed, as you keep going deeper into the onion.
In the ‘what’s blocking you position’ lays the 10 of swords. Again, I see the 10 first, the 7 as the indicator card. Same as the present position cards. This time the 10 is reversed. Showing the lack of completion in the mental realms. The thoughts, logic, communication and planning realm. It seems you’re persisting forward with a thought or belief that’s holding you back. Something you don’t want to release. I asked, “what is the belief we don’t want to release?” And I pulled the 6 of swords. “A new beginning”. You are resisting your new life. The theme here is the same as Tuesday. There’s still fear that life is going to repeat again. You’re gun shy, as the saying goes. Afraid to have the pattern repeat and get hurt again. Sometimes it is really hard, to be in TRUST and FAITH. Especially when you’ve failed at that one thing so many times before. However, I know that failure is part of the path to success. You have to know what you don’t want to get what you do want. You have to know what you don’t want, to recognize the signs of what you won’t allow. You have to believe that the Universe has your back, and is saying, “It’s safe now”. The Universe/guides are saying to you, “Take the journey, shed the past”.
Because what’ surrounding you right now is reaping the rewards of your efforts. Harvest time. Pulling the fruits and veggies out of the garden that you’ve worked on and tended to. It’s time!
In the future position, I see someone who is fearless. Someone who has their own individual way of being in the world. Someone who’s light is shining brighter than the others. Someone who is still taking the leap (reminiscent of the fool card) into the future because they are creative and have faith that everything is going to work out, and that’s their own personal path. What is blocking you right now? Sit down and write down your fears. Because it feels very much like a creative process, that will remove this block to your creativity. To your faith. Write down the thoughts or color them out, and get them out of your body. Sometimes seeing your fears in front of your face, causes them to dissolve because they’re not as scary or the solution appears to you. Sometimes you just physically need to get them out of your cells and they stop bouncing around in your body and instead, can live on the paper.
