This tonic is a must-have for any home, especially during fall, to help warm up the system. When you’re feeling a sore throat, nasal congestion or want to build the immune system this is your Go To! This vinegar infusion is beneficial to the circulatory and immune systems. Crow Spice (Fire) cider is known for being a “Master Tonic” and is an herbal remedy. Crow Spice Cider is an antiviral, antibacterial and anti-fungal and a great decongestant. Supports digestion and is an anti-inflammatory.
History of the Tonic
Rosemary Gladstar popularized the modern day in Fire Cider in 1981. Fire cider is a tincture or tonic, traditionally prepared by mixing ingredients and allowing it to “cure” for 4-6 weeks. Fire Cider is typically known as a folk remedy for boosting immunity. Fire cider base ingredients are typically found in any kitchen and are apple cider vinegar, onion, cayenne, garlic and horseradish. Then each herbalist will combine different ingredients for taste. I have named my Fire Cider, “Crow Spice Cider”.
“Garlic – An immune system stimulant, diaphoretic, expectorant, and antimicrobial, the raw cloves of garlic are used to support the body’s response to respiratory conditions in the winter months. Garlic can ease some of the discomforts of a cold through its anti-inflammatory action, as well as shorten its duration by stimulating the immune system, thinning mucus, and breaking a fever.” The Herbal Academy
